MIsheard Lyrics Part 3: Groovin’ By The Young Rascals

I was watching Youtube’s always-good Professor Of Rock’s latest post yesterday about a 60’s classic – Groovin’ by The Young Rascals, so laid-back, cool, sunny and upbeat, it seems unlikely it might not have been released by Atlantic records, but the story and the interview here tells the story behind it:

Anyway it reminded me back in the 70’s, DJ Noel Edmonds was doing a feature on his show about misheard lyrics in pop music and this one came up with the great quote “life could be ecstacy, you and me and Leslie” and I’ve not been able to un-hear it ever since 🙂
